בריאנה לוקווד, 29, ובעלה ארון, מצפים ללידת ביתם הראשונה בנובמבר. וכאשר התינוקת שלהם תיוולד, אימה בת ה 51 של בריאנה, ג'ולי לובינג, תהיה זו שתלד אותה.

you ladies heard it first! but announced today on our personal page. This was a big step for me. Thinking and praying for each and every one of you! זמן קצר מאוד אחרי שבריאנה וארון התחתנו ב 2016 הם ניסו להיכנס להריון. אחרי שלא הצליחו, הם פנו למומחה פוריות.

בני הזוג עברו כמה סבבים של טיפולי פוריות, ניתוחים, והפלות, לפני שהרופא של בריאנה הציעה לה ללכת על פונדקאות.

"בעיית הפוריות שלי הייתה הדבר הכי קשה שאי פעם נאלצתי לעבור", אמרה בריאנה. "כשיש לך תכנית לחיים ואז משהו כמו אי פוריות משבשת לך את הכל, הרגשתי שאני כבר לא יכולה לראות את מה שדמיינתי, שהכל נלקח ממני".

בריאנה שגרה בשיקגו, לא הייתה זו שביקשה מאמא שלה לשמש כפונדקאית, זו הייתה ההצעה של אמא.

"רצתי 19 מרתונים ועשיתי טריאתלונים רבים בחיי", אמרה לובינג. "הרגשתי שמבחינה בריאותית אני יכולה לעשות את זה, וההריונות הקודמים שלי היו קלים מאוד".

לובינג הציעה את הרעיון לבריאנה אחרי שהייתה לה הפלה עם תאומים, ובת ה 29 לא זרמה עם הרעיון.

רק כאשר לובינג הלכה עם בריאנה לפגישה היא והרופא החלו להאמין שלובינג תוכל להיות הפונדקאית.

אחרי הפגישה לובינג החלה להיפגש עם מומחים כדי לבדוק האם היא תהיה יכולה להיות הפונדקאית.

אחרי שנים של אכזבות ואינספור טיפולים, בחודש פברואר הביציות המופרות הוחזרו ללובינג.

הם חיכו בציפייה לשמוע האם הביציות נקלטו ולובינג הייתה בהריון.

"אפילו כשקיבלנו תוצאה חיובית עדיין לא קפצנו משמחה בגלל שהיו לנו כל כך הרבה אכזבות וטראומה", אמרה בריאנה. "עכשיו, כשההיריון עבר את החצי שלו אנחנו מתחילים להתרגש".

מכיוון שהתשובה החיובית התקבלה שבוע לפני שההגבלות נכנסו לתקוף בגלל נגיף הקורונה, לובינג לקחה חופש מהעבודה שלה במכולת.

בריאנה הגיעה לרוב הבדיקות של אמא שלה, למרות שאמרה שלחלקן היא הייתה צריכה להתחנן לאמא שלה שתיתן לה לבוא איתה, ומכיוון שלארון אסור לבוא לבדיקות, הן מתעדות הכל בטלפון.

⁣⁣ 20 WEEKS!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Half way there!! Last week we went to a suburb of the city to a place called The Belly Factory! It’s a place where you can get a few extra sneak peaks of your little one on ultrasound! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We had a great experience and the tech was super cute and explained every little detail and took her time. A sweet friend called ahead and bought us a bear that they put a recording of her heartbeat in! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I held it together inside but when i got to the car the waterworks began. Cried and just let it out, it felt so good to see her little face and fingers and toes. Mama was being a mom to me again, rubbing my back consoling me. Good to know moms are moms no matter how old you get. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Forever there for their babies, just like i plan to be!⁣ ⁣ Raw and real, but happy tears!
